The audit indicates a processing error that may need to be fixed by a programmer. Before contacting Support, check the following list to see if there may be a workaround:
1. If you have Florida or Tennessee marked as one of the states to process but have not entered any data in the state, uncheck the state on the +/- tab underneath the Asset tab. The regulatory processing error should disappear.
2. If you have entered data in the 2106 vehicle grid, check to see that you have a valid date entered in the
"date placed in service" column.
3. If you have entered any detail statements, ensure that there are no blank rows in the statement grid. If there are, click the X to the right of the row to delete it.
4. If you have California marked as one of the states to process and have any Federal 1099-Rs entered without a taxable amount, a fix was released on February 5, 2013. Try upgrading to a build as of that date or later.
5. If you had filled out Form 2848 in this return, there was an issue causing the form to disappear from the list. The fix will be released on February 7, 2013. Try upgrading to a build as of that date or later.
If none of the above statements apply to you, then please contact support. You will need to export the client from your software and email to exports@redgeartech.com. Please besure to include all of your contact information and your account number.
I am getting a red audit that mentions a "regulatory processing error." I have updated the software and am still getting the audit. Print
